Omaha Event Group Partners with West Main Catering

Omaha Event Group is being formed between GPMM, Inc. that operates restaurants and catering services in Nebraska and Colorado. The Omaha Event Group runs events and venues such as the Omaha Design Center and Omaha Fashion Week. The businesses are proudly women-led with CEO Pam Briere leading GPMM, Inc. supported by retired US Air Force pilot husband Jeff Briere in Colorado. Omaha Fashion Group’s Events and Venues are led by CEO Brook Hudson supported by husband Nick Hudson, who is the Co-Ordinating Chairman of the new partnership.

The combined group in Omaha will have:

  • 5 venues ranging in size from 5,000 sq ft to 30,000 sq ft with themes from industrial chic to French Château

  • 2 different catering firms including one headed by a Bravo TV Celebrity Chef with food service from $15 to $50+ per guest 

  • All-Inclusive event equipment provided for groups of 50 to 1,200 guests such as gold chiavari chairs, accent lighting, AV, linens, and more

  • 300+ annual events including weddings, corporate gatherings, conferences, non-profit fundraisers, and more

  • 20 internal events a year including Omaha Crush, Latin dancing, kids creativity programs and Omaha Fashion Week

As part of the partnership two new venues and a new catering concept will be launching in Omaha;

  1. West Main Catering is launching in Omaha this month. An elevated custom caterer for premium events headed by Tyler Wiard, who was featured on Bravo TV Top Chef Season 10. Before West Main, Tyler was the founding Culinary Director for all four of John Elway's restaurants in Colorado. West Main’s lead venue in Colorado gained national attention this winter for its innovative provision of Covid-safe ice fishing tents geared with space heaters for outdoor dining.

  2. A new venue is launching this month…The Garden Room. A beautiful 1920’s themed garden escape with a speakeasy wine tasting room, cocktail bar, and ballroom. Multiple kitchens are available onsite and the venue hosts 50-220 guests with a wide range of options. The Garden Room is located next to Omaha Design Center in the TipTop Building at 15th and Cuming St.

  3. Anderson O’Brien Fine Art Gallery will open in April at a new 5,000 sq ft gallery located at the corner of 31st and Farnam. As part of the Midtown Crossing development, it is home to beautiful art from the regions' top 90+ independent artists. It is also a beautiful new venue for corporate gatherings, non-profit events, and weddings of up to 100 guests.
